PRINCESS KICKS OFF THE YEAR WITH SUCCESSFUL BOOT DUSSELDORF
Following the conclusion of boot Düsseldorf 2020, Princess Yachts is celebrating another hugely successful event at the world’s leading indoor boat show.
The UK’s largest luxury yacht manufacturer enjoyed unprecedented stand visitor numbers and levels of sales across its range throughout the eight-day event. Debuting five new yachts – the F50, V55, S62, S66 and Y78 – alongside a display also featuring the R35, V40, V50, F55 and Y85 underlined Princess’s recent launch programme that has resulted in record numbers of new yachts being designed, developed, manufactured and ordered in the past two years.
Boot Düsseldorf attracted over 250,000 visitors from 106 countries this year. Almost a quarter of visitors were overseas guests coming from as far as Canada, Australia and Brazil, underling the show’s continued international appeal.
Princess V60 to Premiere at the British Motor Yacht Show
18th to 20th May will see the return of the British Motor Yacht Show to Premier’s Swanwick Marina. This unique show is the result of an inspired collaboration between Premier Marinas and well-matched luxury British motor yacht brands Princess, Fairline, and Sunseeker.
2018 marks the sixth year for the show, which has gained an enviable reputation for presenting a stunning line up of prestigious motor yachts.

Princess Expand the Exhilarating V-Class Range
Following the success of the award-winning V58 and V40, Princess strengthens its dynamic V Class offering with the latest additions to the progressive range of sport yachts – the all-new V65, V60 and V50.
Enjoy a spirited dash across the ocean in a Princess V Class, a fusion of power and luxury. Taking the helm, the variable geometry of the deep-V hull assuredly translates any surge of power into taut handling.
Born from an obsession with exceptional seakeeping and voluminous space, the original V Class yachts delivered seemingly diametrically opposed characteristics, much to the delight of owners. Their sculpted form – shaped from lightweight, resin-infused composite material – optimised for greater lift and less drag, leading to lower planing speeds and greater efficiency. This ingenious design ensures it burns less fuel to achieve its maximum design speed. Such precision thinking gives rise to exhilarating speeds, defined by efficiency, agility and poise.
All of the traditional qualities of craftsmanship and refinement are displayed and reinvented in a deliberately more involving design concept. Clean flowing lines accentuate the spear-less double curvature deckhouse glazing and soft facetted geometry defines the interior joinery to create a truly captivating environment. The fluid exterior graphic of the silhouette is unmistakable, from the contemporary hull windows to the progressive new graphic language with feature coloured canopy styling blades.
The striking V Class range is instantly recognisable, utilising the same design ethos through the use of materials and timbers and retaining the same overall design integrity across the range. Familiar design accents include elegant exterior upholstery with hand stitched contrast detailing, hand laid directional veneers and soft angled geometry furniture, recessed fashion lines through the internal bulkheads and headlining with the distinctive V Class colour palette. In the driving seat, the helm area features new specific signature V Class styling and hand stitched helm seats in Nero Black leather with Brown Taupe detailing.
Open boating can be enjoyed to its optimum with these exciting all-new V Class additions. Both feature spacious cockpits which inspire relaxation complimented with a sun pad and well equipped dining area leading to a fully equipped aft galley. These flexible deck saloon models can be climate controlled or opened to the elements via sliding doors and a retractable sunroof. Below deck, guests enjoy beautifully appointed cabins each bathed in natural light from elegant hull glazing, with the option of a further cabin aft for occasional guests or crew. The V65 can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins and the V60, 6 guests in 3 cabins. These adrenaline-fuelling sport yachts can reach speeds up to 38 knots.
Princess V60 Saloon
Flexibility is offered in abundance on the new V50 starting with the option of an enclosed or open main deck configuration with L-shaped seating or sunpad aft leading to the spacious and airy saloon and helm seating. Innovative flexibility continues to the well-appointed lower deck saloon which can be used as an entertaining space or provides the option to convert to a double berth. There is the added option of specifying this area with a third cabin. The full beam master stateroom is an inviting sanctuary whilst the forward cabin enjoys the option of scissor berths. She will reach speeds up to 32 knots with twin Volvo IPS 600 engines.
Be first to see the dynamic V65 and V50 at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2018 followed by the V60 later in the spring.
Southampton Boat Show
14 September to 24 September 2017
Considered the best of the UK’s boat shows, Southampton Boat Show is once again taking place at Mayflower Park and will run from today, 15th September until 24th September.
As always, Princess Yachts will be at the heart of this exciting Show and the line-up is as stunning as ever and includes the global launches of two all-new flybridge models – the Princess 55 and Princess 62. There will be a total of 11 motor yachts on the water, and on land, you can find the Princess V40, also making its first appearance at Southampton.
Standing proudly beneath the Princess V40 is a Bentley Continental GT3 race car. Earlier this year Princess Yachts and Bentley Motorsport signed a partnership deal, which will see these two iconic luxury brands partner together in motorsport activities around the world. The Princess Yachts Design Studio has also been working closely with Bentley Motors to create a world-class limited edition Continental GT Convertible – the Galene, which was unveiled earlier this month at Cannes Yachting Festival. Inspired by and echoing throughout the contemporary style of Princess Yachts the Galene is a truly breathtaking car.
